I literally was waiting for 2 hours and the restaurant called me asking me what is my order ! I was shocked.. they told me later that they just received the order now ! They didnt even write the restaurants number to call them when theyre late ! Never ordering from this app again! In fact Ill delete it ..

I used this app once and what I experienced was enough not to try it again. I registered and made an order. I was pleased that I got a phone call 10 min later by Talabat confirming my registration and order then followed by an sms. I did not pay attention to the time but an hour and a half later, I realised that It was taking too long for the food to arrive. Opened the app to check on the status of the order and I found out that it was cancelled. I called Talabat to complain that no one called me or sent me an sms to inform me of my cancelled order and the reaction was, "it is not Talabats fault it is the restaurant" without any apologies or solutions. So, my understanding is that if I order through Talabat, I am blind on the order follow up and I should expect poor customer service. Sorry but I will order directly with the restaurants in the future.
